DM/IS 10D ADVANCED PHOTOSHOP FALL SEMESTER 2008

WEEK 14 November 24th

Final Portfolio DUE Monday Dec 15 (please bring this with you to the final in person meeting- & send it to my via emails)

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PORTFOLIO

You need to submit a portfolio of the class assignments.See the grade breakdown for the list of assignments. The portfolio needs to be simply organized, and each assignment clearly labelled. A simple website or blog, will suffice. I want all your work posted, so it's easy for me to see your progress through the semester. For you, the class portfolio should serve to show what you have learned (in the form of the assignments), and be available for anyone who may be interested in seeing your work.
Many of my students have gotten internships, and/or short term contracts based on their class portfolios.

So BE CREATIVE, HAVE FUN and GO TO TOWN on these portfolios.

You must print out the folio on card stock, on your home printer, or at FedEx Kinkos.

In the porfolio you should include relevant information:
1. Title Main Page
2. Your name
3. Project Title & Description (be concise and to the point&remember to include important information in a logical order)

In your portfolio you should include:

1. Graphics from Design prototype (De Saisset) project
2. Line Excercise and Drawing Utencil, including final personal choice of each design and utencil
3. Graphics from 2 other assignments of your Choice

Here is a portfolio that I like by a friend and former student of mine Raj KottamasuTake a look at the portfolio. He is actually an urban planner, but also a great graphic designer and artist.

Class portfolio may be a blog, website or print version (saved high resolution pdf+printed) +++++EXTRA BROWNIE POINTS for printing, a good opportunity to make up on past missed assignments! +++++++
